Thank You Anderson High School and John Sperry, our tournament volunteers, referees, and judges, as well as all of the competing teams and their mentors and supporters. We had a great time on February 18th and can't wait until the next event. Good luck to all of our winning teams at the next competition.
The February 18th tournament was Presented by ARM and hosted by Anderson High School’s robotics team, AusTIN CANs, and by the STEM Council at Skillpoint Alliance. The 2011-12 Bowled Over!™ Season of FTC in Central Texas is made possible through funding by the Texas Workforce Commission. Governor Rick Perry and Texas Workforce Commissioners Andres Alcantar and Ronnie Congleton allocated $1 million dollars to expand statewide student participation in robotics education programs last November. Funds were dispersed through Dallas-based non-profit FIRST in Texas. Additional support for the Anderson tournament is provided by Presenting Sponsor, ARM.
